Super Bowl Sabbotage

So for those of you that know know that I love to throw a good party. It is seriously my gift and I am proud to say that I am the "hostess with the mostest". I can come up with all sorts of excused to throw a party and the super bowl is one of them. Now, I love college football. I keep up with the rankings, watch the games, read ESPN but I do not watch pro football at all. I have no team that I really care for and to be honest I couldn't even tell you who was playing in the superbowl until about 24 hours before my party (after I googled it). But...I love to party so we had a get together with some friends.

It was a great time but as you all know Super Bowl Parties are not nice on the waist line. I totally over did it. It wasn't that I ate so much (however I did eat two cupcakes) but that the food was calorie dense! This is why I always say that you can't exercise off a bad diet. It took me less than 10 minutes to probably consume over 1000 calories; chicken wings, ritz & dip, chili, cupcake, etc but it would take me 2.5 hours to burn that off on the treadmill. I am not proud but I totally gave in and indulged...over indulged.

Tonight I am definitely doing the shred! It is my daily goal to do both level 1 and level 2 with no more than a 15 minute break between the two. This week I have got to be spot on! I have to drink my water and log my food. I'll be posting my weight on Sunday.

If you too over indulged I encourage you to just start fresh today. Don't beat yourself up about it. You can't change the past. Just do good this week and try to get in a little extra exercise.

  1. wow! That sounds like a heck of a party! It is hard when there is so much good food around--but I know you'll get back on track and breeze through this next weigh in! You go girl!
(p.s. SO glad your grandparents are noticing and others around you are commenting on how good you look! It's SUCH a rewarding feeling--one you absolutely DESERVE!)
