Not sure how fast that will be. Right now 4.5-5.0 is a good jog for me but I can only do it for short bursts. Hoping by the time I finish C25K that I will be able to keep that pace for the entire 3 miles. I took a look at the Knoxville course online and it is surprisingly pretty flat. There is a little rise and fall but shouldn't be too bad. I guess I will have to start adding some incline to the treadmill as well.

I am going to send a letter to friends, family and colleagues asking people to pledge based on the pounds I have lost at the time of the race (i.e., 25 cents a pound, 50 cents a pound or $1 per pound). If I stay on track and continue to lose about 2 pounds a week, I should be about 75 pounds lighter by the time of the race! So exciting.
